Dr Nidal Harb was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees in Leningrad, a fellowship in cerebrovascular research at Baylor College of Medicine, a residency in internal medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Harb went to Jerusalem and worked as a volunteer consultant to the Ministry of Health. He played a major role in modernizing cardiac care in the country. He is a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, and is board certified in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Harb served as president of Scott County Medical Society. He is currently the president-elect of the Genesis Medical Center medical staff in Davenport.
